The Oklahoma Sooners are making a strong case for landing one of the top players in the 2024 recruiting class, David Stone. Stone, who was once Oklahoma State’s No. 1 player before transferring to the IMG Academy in Florida, will be a recruit that power players across the country will pursue.
Led by Todd Bates and Brent Venables, it looks like the Oklahoma Sooners are making the case for top talent in the Class of 2024. Just a few days ago, On3 recruiting director Chad Simmons announced that David Stone would end up with the Oklahoma Sooners.
And now Josh McCuistion of SoonerScoop.com, part of the Rivals Network has released a Rivals prediction in favor of the Oklahoma Sooners landing stone for the Class of 2024.

Stone is a consensus four-star defensive tackle on Rivals, On3 and 247Sports and has a chance to continue to increase the recruiting rankings by adding weight to his already massive frame. At 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds, Stone is already huge for a high school sophomore.

In 2021, Stone earned Under Armor All-American honors and was a member of the Max Preps first-team defense.
There’s still a long way to go in the 2024 recruiting cycle, but the Sooners are already in a great position to sign the talented player from Del City.
