The 2022 Major League Soccer season kicks off on Saturday, February 26 with an opening weekend filled with 14 thrilling football matches that North American fans have been dreaming about for months.

The games are available on a variety of channels and live TV streaming services, with ESPN Plus being the premier service for MLS fans who want to watch 10 of the 14 games this weekend. Full TV and broadcast schedule below.

Last season ended with an MLS Cup featuring the Portland Timbers against New York City FC. NYCFC won on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regulation and overtime. It was NYCFC’s first-ever MLS Cup championship, and the first time a New York professional sports team has won a major national championship since the Giants won the Super Bowl in 2012.

It’s the 27th season of Major League Soccer, and the earliest start to a season ever. New to the league this year, Charlotte FC, the 28th team in MLS, will play at Bank of America Stadium, home of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers.
