Sixteen nations compete for the 2021 Gold Cup, the trophy that crowns the best national team in the North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) region. Mexico are the reigning champions and the United States Men’s National Team are expected to challenge El Tri for the title. The two countries have shared the last 10 editions of the tournament.
The 2021 competition, which features the Qatar special guest team, began with a group stage. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage. The quarterfinals and knockout semi-finals will lead to the Championship game in Las Vegas on Sunday, August 1.
Updated group standings, results and match schedules follow below. If the teams are tied on points in the group stage, the following tiebreakers will be used by tournament regulations:

- Goals scored in all group matches
- Points in matches between tied teams
- Goal difference in matches between tied teams

- Draw
