United 6, Columbiana 0

HANOVERTON – United’s women’s football team beat Columbiana 6-0 on Monday.

Rachael Rhodes and Addyson Blazer scored two goals each for the winners, 8-3-1.

Samantha Wolfe and Katie Dees also scored goals. Grace Hall and Wolfe got assists. Dees made two saves in goal.

United welcome Warren JFK on Wednesday.

United 7, Columbiana 1

HANOVERTON – Louden Stryffeler scored two goals and an assist and Wyatt Medure scored two goals as he led United past Columbiana, 7-1, in the men’s soccer game on Monday.

Maddox Andrea, Justus Lewand and Jase Medure also scored for United with a top. Landon Jones, Nevin Jones and Jacob Tucker got assists. Ethan Hively made three saves.

Drake Daughterty scored the only goal for the Clippers. Dylan Hogan recorded nine saves and Nate Burnell recorded five saves.

United improve to 8-3-1, while Columbiana drops to 1-8.

Columbiana is heading to Lordstown today.

Leetonia 4, Cardinal 1

LEETONIA – Leetonia’s women’s football team tamed Cardinal 4-0 on Monday.

Maddy Steiskal scored two goals and an assist for the winners. Ella Gregorino also scored two goals and an assist. Madison Gregory provided an assist.

Lexi Solomon Hansen made two saves in goal.

Carrollton 7, Liverpool East 0

CARROLLTON – Carrollton shut out East Liverpool, 7-0, in women’s football action on Monday.

East Liverpool will host St. Clairsville at 6 p.m. Thursday senior evening.

Wheeling Park 5, Oak Glen 0

NEW MANCHESTER, W.Va. – Wheeling Park shut out the Oak Glen women’s football team with a 5-0 win on Monday.

Oak Glen, fresh off an OVAC Class 4A title, fell to 9-3.

Alexus Greenlief made 12 saves.

Oak Glen welcomes Madonna today.
