Cristiano Ronaldo named ambassador for new football game, ready to compete

With FIFA and EA’s eFootball PES being the most popular football video games in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo was recently named the new ambassador for UFL, a new football game on the block. Check it out!

What is the story?

For football fans around the world, FIFA and PES are the go-to choice for gamers who want to play football video games. With little to no competition, a new game could well be a challenge for the big names and have already made great strides.

UFL is described as an upcoming “free-to-play association football simulation game” and was developed by Strikerz Inc. It will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Series S.

Big things ahead ?

In August 2021, UFL showed off a trailer for things to come, reporting that it had been in development since 2016.

The game has also partnered with FIFAPro, which has over 65,000 professional footballers under its organization, while InStat will provide the latest stats for each player.

As part of the game’s licensed clubs, West Ham United, Sporting CP, Shakhtar Donetsk, Borussia Mounchengladbach, Monach, Besiktas, Celtic and Rangers have already been announced in association with the UFL.

That being said, Ronaldo has now been revealed as a UFL ambassador, as seen in one of their latest Instagram posts. Speaking to their IG handle uploading a reveal video of CR7, UFL said: “If there’s a will, there’s a way.

What a great honor it is that you have joined us on this exciting journey, champion.

Have your say…

Will you buy the new UFL game?
